Chilli Padi’s been slacking with posts for her Corner, and apologises profusely. Her reason excuse? Swamped with other work.
But since I took some time out to join Awol at what turned out to be a really cool event, I figured it was the perfect chance for my comeback post.
We headed to the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay
, where a group of glow-light-loving people had come together to make beautiful art. The OCBC Garden Rhapsody
coincided with the start of the event and helped to set the mood quite beautifully. You wouldn’t believe how amazing some of these LED toys were - the colours and patterns they could make. And best of all, they lent themselves perfectly to photography.
Here is a gallery of some of the shots I took with my trusty point-and-shoot. They weren’t perfect, but considering how I wasn’t using a tripod, I thought I didn’t do too bad a job of it. Also included are some taken with Awol’s camera.
I’ll end off with a gallery of when the one and only Awol took to the floor. First, he throws in his specialty - sparks. Then he borrows a LED hoop from the people at Starlight Alchemy
and goes to town with it. Like he isn’t already mesmerising enough! Hehehe…
