Puff The Magic Dragon

I recently got a request for the extended lyrics for a song written by Leonard Lipton and Peter Yarrow, and made popular by Yarrow's group Peter, Paul and Mary in 1963 - Puff the Magic Dragon. It's a classic song about a child with a strong imagination that grows up and leaves behind his childlike ways. I've added the extra verse because to me it really brings the song around full circle. The writers never mention it and Peter, Paul and Mary never played this verse; in fact I can't find who to attribute it to, but the idea is that the father remembers his childhood friend and passes this concept on to his son. This now explains how it is that the dragon can live forever.
