After the beautiful sunrise
, we ventured out and after breakfast we stopped at a butterfly garden. This would become the photo album that I personally loved the most. Butterflies were just everywhere!
Some - many of the largest species - that I most wanted to photograph were up and stuck on the netting that kept them enclosed, safe from birds and from just escaping into the wild. Of course that doesn't make for a nice photo, so I made do with the ones that were busy hanging out on flowers and leaves.
Behind the butterfly enclosure there were many unusual insects and animals on display. We speculated on how they came to live here, but really we have no idea.
