CNY Inspired Friendship Bracelet
As a kid, I loved how Celtic art had that woven look. But just when I was working on a pattern inspired by that, it also happened that the Chinese New Year was around the corner. So inspired by that as well, I made something using 2 popular colors related to CNY but in the Celtic style. There are 3 strings of each color so once looped there are 6 of each. Now, mind you I personally double my strands to make it thicker. With 12 strands I can make a nice kumihumo loop. So it doesn’t matter if you’re doubling the strands so long as we are on the same count of strings.
