Symmetrical Twist on Pattern #110610

Today we’re diving into pattern #1110610 from friendship-bracelets.net—and giving it a fresh twist! I walk you through my setup process in GIMP, centering the design so it mirrors itself beautifully across the wrist. It might look like a bow tie… or something totally different once it’s done. Either way, I think it’s going to turn out awesome. 🤞

Today I’m working with pattern #11610 from friendship-bracelets.net—but I didn’t just follow the chart. I flipped the direction halfway through to test how it knots in reverse. The result? Super interesting insights on difficulty, flow, and the feel of the final bracelet. 🧠🧵

💚 I used two contrasting greens to make this design pop—but the real star here is how switching the arrow direction in the middle gives it a unique mirrored vibe.
💡 Tip: You don’t have to follow a pattern exactly. Experiment, personalize, and make it yours.
