Surprise Bracelet Design! Starting from the Top & Letting the Pattern Evolve ✨ | Elongated Arrowhead

Today we’re trying something totally new—starting our bracelet from the top and letting the middle just happen! 😲 I’m using the same swatch of colors from a previous project (because we still have string left over, of course) and kicking things off with the elongated arrowhead pattern.

What will the middle look like? No idea. But that’s the fun of it! We’ve got bold hot colors front and center, with a bit of cool green and blue for balance. The result? A totally unique and unexpected design that I think you’re going to love.

Watch as I walk through the build, share my thought process, and reveal what happens when you let go and let your bracelet do its thing.

Welcome back! It’s Kevin—aka AWOL—and today we’re revisiting the elongated arrowhead bracelet… but this time, with no mistakes! 🙌 We’re flipping the direction, pointing inward toward the middle, and the result absolutely blew me away.

💡 This bracelet unexpectedly sparked a ton of new ideas:

  • A double version to explore those “in-between” spaces
  • A Turkish lamp-inspired colorway
  • Even possibly turning it into a bag design!

I dive into what worked, what surprised me, how the colors blended beautifully (even when they weren’t supposed to stand out), and why the center looks like a soundwave from a cymbal crash—yes, really!
