Designing a Rainbow Diamond Arrowhead Bracelet from Scratch

Welcome back, friends! It’s Kevin (akaAWOL), and today we’re doing something a little different—I’m creating a completely new bracelet pattern based only on a color idea and a little swatch I sketched up! 🎨

We’re diving into:

A hot color-heavy arrowhead pattern with multiple diamonds 🌟

Live thoughts on color placement and symmetry 💭

Tips on pattern design and avoiding common mistakes ✔️

A peek at the behind-the-scenes of my bracelet design process

This bracelet features reds, oranges, yellows—the hot side—with subtle hints of purple, blue, green, and chartreuse. It’s a bold experiment in structure and flow, and I think it might even look amazing as a double wide!

Hey friends, it’s Kevin (akaAWOL) back again—this time showing off the finished version of the triple diamond arrowhead bracelet I designed in the last video!

This pattern started with a simple thought: what if we stretched the end of an arrowhead pattern into three full diamonds? Turns out—it’s a whole vibe. 🔥

In this video, we dive into:

  • Final thoughts on the color dominance (hello yellow and orange! 🍊🌞)
  • Why the cool colors barely appear—and what that means for your color planning
  • Segment knotting tips and the natural flow of this pattern
  • Real-time discussion on potential upgrades: a double-wide version and even turning it into a bag!
  • Hidden tricks like preventing banana-curves 🍌 (you know what I’m talking about!)

🧵 String usage tip: This pattern burns through warm colors. If you’re replicating it, be generous with yellow and orange cuts, and keep purple short—it’s barely used!
