Reworking a Bracelet Pattern – Adding a Unique Twist!
Today, we’re taking a bracelet pattern I’ve already made and giving it a brand-new twist! 🎨✨ I had a fresh vision for this design, and since I already had the string, I figured—why not go for it?
Instead of the original layout, I’m introducing small rectangular dashes within the pattern, swapping out colors in a way that adds an extra layer of depth and complexity. It’s a simple modification, but it creates that “Wait, how did you do that?” effect, which I always love!
🔹 Pattern Highlights:
✅ Uses the same setup as before but with an added visual trick
✅ Alternates colors inside each section for a layered effect
✅ Can be adapted to different color schemes—maybe even a 12-color rainbow?! 🌈
I’m really excited to see how this one turns out! If you want to try it, the full pattern will be available on akaawol.com. And if you do make it, share your work on Discord! I’d love to see what color combos you choose!
💬 What do you think of this tweak? Would you try it with a rainbow gradient? Let me know in the comments!

Today, I made a super fun bracelet that plays with color in a unique way! 🎨✨ This pattern features four shades of purple, blue, and green, forming a bold candy-stripe-inspired design—but with an unexpected twist in the middle!
Each section contains a color swap, where small blocks of opposite colors break up the flow, adding extra depth and contrast. The best part? This bracelet took less than an hour to make! ⏳
🔹 Pattern Highlights:
✅ Beginner-friendly & super quick to complete!
✅ The color swaps create a “how did you do that?” effect 🤯
✅ Works well with different fades—might even try a 12-color rainbow next! 🌈
I love how the braids turned out too—the way the colors grouped together made them extra pretty. 💜💙💚 I’m curious, though… how do you think this would look in a full rainbow fade? Should I give it a try? Let me know in the comments!
