Transforming Pattern 81102 Into a 2-Color Spiral!

Today’s Blindsided Creation is brought to you by Minute_Craft and features pattern #81102! I haven’t seen this pattern before, so we’re diving in blind—literally. I’ll walk you through my real-time design process as I remix this four-color diamond spiral into a sleek two-color twist using leftover gray and pink string. 💫

Along the way, I’ll show you how I simplify complex patterns using GIMP (hello, version 3.0!), how to spot cycles and segment flips, and how to make the design as clean and knot-efficient as possible.

And here is my pattern. Click it to get the PDF in higher resolution.

We’re back with another Blindsided Creation—this time it’s the completed version of pattern #81102, submitted by Minute_Craft! 😎 In this follow-up, I walk you through the highs, lows, and zigzaggy surprises of making this 14-string spiral bracelet in real time.

🎥 This build was streamed live (yep, all 70 minutes of it!), and here I’m sharing what I learned:
✅ Where the pattern got tricky
✅ A small but crucial design fix
✅ Why long strings saved me big time
✅ The amazing matching kumi loop my wife made 💖
✅ And whether I’d recommend making this version… or a remix!

Plus, we’re coming up on 200 live streams 😱 — if you’re not a YouTube Member yet, this is a great time to join. You’ll get behind-the-scenes access, exclusive content, and help support the creation of more original patterns, tutorials, and content.
