Freestyling a 2-Color Bracelet Pattern (12 Strings!) – Will It Work?
What happens when you have a cool idea for a bracelet… and just wing it? 🎯
In this video, I freestyle a brand-new two-color pattern using 12 strings (the same color combo from my 10-string kumi video 👀). The idea? Elongated diamonds stacked in threes, gradually shifting for a zigzaggy, unexpected flow. It’s part math, part art—and a whole lot of guessing until it starts to make sense.
💜💗 The result is a wild, asymmetric design that’s anything but basic. Not exactly beginner-friendly, but definitely satisfying once it clicks.
⚙️ Tools used: pattern sketching, symmetry flipping, a whole lot of counting

Today’s bracelet isn’t just a pattern—it’s a full-on design concept. 🎯
This started as a creative experiment—what happens if you take three totally different arrowhead-style segments and smash them into a single symmetrical bracelet? Throw in a center diamond that flips the flow, and you’ve got something wild, unpredictable, and totally custom.
⚠️ Not your typical repeat pattern from braceletbook or friendship-bracelets.net. This is a full bracelet design made for people who want to push their creativity.
It’s a zigzag-heavy, constantly-changing, intermediate-level piece—and it works.
I even have ideas for a rainbow version next 👀
