This Bracelet Pattern Feels… Off (But I Kinda Like It?) – Pattern #4325

Today we’re diving into pattern #4325 from friendship-bracelets.net — and this one is… a little unusual 🤔

At first glance, it looks like a standard zigzag-style bracelet, but then you notice something:

👉 Not all the strings behave the same
👉 Some zigzag… some just don’t
👉 And that creates this slightly “off” but intentional design

👀 What Makes This Pattern Different
2 out of 6 strings don’t follow the zigzag flow
Creates a subtle “break” in the pattern
Makes the design feel a little unexpected

It’s one of those patterns where you’re constantly asking:
“Was that intentional… or just weird?” 😆

🧠 How I Approached It

Instead of jumping straight in, I:

Tracked underlying string paths first
Filled in the obvious sections
Worked backwards to solve the tricky parts

💡 Pro tip:
Solve the easy parts first — the rest becomes WAY clearer

🎨 Design Thoughts
The long orange line that forms? Actually really cool
Yellow wrapping around it adds movement
Red stopping short feels intentional and controlled

It’s weird… but the more you look at it, the more it feels deliberate.

🤔 The Big Question

Will people notice the “odd” parts?

Or will it just look like a normal zigzag bracelet from a distance?

I’m genuinely curious what you think 👇

Today we’re making pattern #4325 from friendship-bracelets.net — but with a twist… a pastel rainbow color palette 🌈

And let me tell you… that made things way more interesting 😅

🎨 What Changed with Pastels
Harder to distinguish between similar colors
Forced me to rely more on pattern logic than color cues
Actually made the process more challenging than expected
👀 The “Weird” Pattern Detail

Just like in the breakdown video…

👉 The red and green don’t complete the zigzag
👉 Every other color does

It’s subtle — and honestly?
You barely notice it unless you’re really looking 👀

But it does change how you approach the bracelet while making it.

⚠️ What Made This Tricky
The center section (extra zigzag spacing)
Keeping edges tight (it wants to “V” outward)
Constantly checking the pattern early on

💡 Tip:
You’ll need to pull tighter in the second half to keep the edges straight.

⏱️ Time to Make

~ 1 hour 2 minutes
Pretty average… but mentally more involved than expected

🎯 Skill Level

❌ Not beginner
✔️ Intermediate

This one requires:

Pattern awareness
Consistent tension control
Attention to subtle changes
💭 Final Thoughts
Really interesting design
Subtle differences that don’t scream at you
Worth trying at least once

Not sure I’d use it for bigger projects…
…but I am curious what a double-wide would do 👀
