I Flipped This Uneven Braid Into a Rainbow Masterpiece

In this episode of Blindsided Creations, we’re taking on a unique three-color braid pattern from BraceletBook (#46757) sent in by the talented @Minute_Craft! As someone who lives for symmetry, this asymmetrical braid challenged me in the best way possible — but we didn’t stop there…

✨ I added a twist: SIX colors instead of three, creating a hot-vs-cold rainbow battle for the center braid! Watch as I transform this simple design into something visually dynamic and colorful — all while working through some fun new software quirks. 😅

This started as a simple 3-color braid… but I couldn’t help myself 😅

Today on Blindsided Creations, we’re revisiting pattern #46757 from BraceletBook — submitted by Minute_Craft — and giving it a total glow-up. What began as a straightforward asymmetrical design turned into a balanced, vibrant 6-color rainbow bracelet 🔥❄️

Instead of keeping all the center knots on one side (like the original), I alternated the center row between hot and cold color sets — and the difference is subtle but powerful. The final bracelet feels harmonious, balanced, and surprisingly easy to make for something that looks so dynamic!

✅ Key Changes I Made:

  • Went from 3 colors to 6: red, orange, yellow vs. green, blue, purple
  • Alternated the center row to balance symmetry
  • No mid-bracelet flip — it flows like two braids side-by-side
  • Total time: Just over 1 hour (plus setup)

🎨 Imagine this same technique with gradients, monochromes, or your own custom palette! Try it, tweak it, and share it on Discord — I’d love to see your version.
