This Pattern Had Me Questioning Everything
This pattern had me scratching my head more than once… 😅
Today’s Blindsided Creation comes from Minute_Craft (again! 💥), featuring pattern #67078 from BraceletBook. What started as a clean import and trace quickly turned into a real challenge in logic, symmetry, and color theory. I mean… blue and then dark blue? No green in the rainbow? Come on! 😆
In true AWOL fashion, I couldn’t resist tweaking the original colors — replacing one of the blues with green to bring back that rainbow order harmony 🌈. And while I usually like to flip patterns mid-way, this one felt like it needed to run straight through. Minimal flipping, maximum color drama.
🎨 Major changes:
Replaced one blue with green for a proper rainbow look
Debated doubling the pattern… then decided against it
Questioned the color layout more than once 🧠
Realized this one works, even if it fights back at first!

This pattern really tested me — and honestly? That’s what Blindsided Creations are all about. 💥
Pattern #67078 (submitted by the always-awesome @Minute_Craft) seemed simple enough… until those sneaky red and purple indentations threw off the whole rhythm. I swapped one of the two blues for a green to create a proper rainbow effect 🌈, but even with the color fix, this one kept me on my toes.
Despite that, I found a rhythm, leaned into the zigzags, and brought it together in just over an hour. The result? A bold and unexpected 12-string bracelet that looks more complex than it is.
