This one didn’t have a clear starting point, so I made the center the focal feature and built outwards from there. 💡 I walk through the process of importing the pattern into my template, color balancing, choosing the center design (hello diamonds!), and making string length predictions—because trust me, some strings get used way more than others. 🎨 Pattern preview includes: Tips for balancing string use evenly Trimming a row for better symmetry Why centering your pattern matters (especially if you’re posting it or gifting it!) Hey everyone, it’s Kevin (aka AWOL)! Today we’re wrapping up bracelet pattern #10699 from friendship-bracelets.net—a surprisingly mellow design with just enough challenge to keep it fun. It’s paired with kumi pattern #1650 for the loop, and I gave it a unique twist with variegated floss paired with a dark solid brown. The result? A bracelet that almost disappears in places, with the colors blending like coffee and creamer ☕. I’ll admit, I wish there was more contrast—but it was a cool experiment and gave me tons of ideas for future color combos.
