Diamond Center Friendship Bracelet

Hey friends, Kevin here (aka AWOL) 👋 — today we’re designing another bracelet pattern completely from scratch!

This one features:
💎 A big diamond center
⚡ A zigzag effect around a single dot in the middle
🎨 A super simple design process you can try yourself

The fun part? You don’t need a pattern number for this one — it’s all about experimenting and seeing how shapes come together. I’ll walk you through the steps I use, from laying out the diamond to mirroring the design so it repeats perfectly.

This is pattern designing at its easiest, and I think the result is a really classy bracelet that looks way more complicated than it actually is.

🙏 Special thanks to my YouTube Members for supporting these experimental projects — you make this possible!

Hey everyone, Kevin here (aka AWOL)! 👋 Today I’m sharing another original bracelet pattern I designed, and this one is pretty different from what you’ll usually find online.

Instead of just repeating the same shapes, I calculated the exact center and built the design around a big bold diamond, with smaller S-shapes leading into it. Think of it like a bracelet with a “watch face” in the middle — something special that makes the piece feel unique.

🧵 What makes this one fun:

Big diamond centerpiece 💎

Tiny S-shapes that add texture and rhythm

A new challenge in thread management (short tassels taught me something here!)

A good reminder that even experienced bracelet makers still learn as they go

This bracelet took me about an hour, and honestly, it surprised me. I thought the smaller shapes would save thread… turns out, not so much. 😅 But that’s the joy of experimenting — you discover things you didn’t expect.
