I Tried This Confusing Bracelet Pattern – Pattern 3613 Breakdown

This might be one of the most confusing bracelet patterns I’ve ever looked at… 😅

Today we’re diving into Pattern 3613 from friendship-bracelets.net—and honestly, at first glance, it doesn’t seem to make a whole lot of sense. But instead of skipping it, we break it down step by step and make it workable.

💡 In this video, you’ll see:

How to approach a pattern that doesn’t immediately click
Why changing color order can make a design WAY easier to follow
How to build from the most obvious sections first
What to expect from a highly complex, zigzag-heavy bracelet

🎨 I also reordered the colors into a rainbow sequence to make the flow more intuitive—because sometimes the pattern isn’t wrong… it’s just harder to read.

⚠️ Fair warning:
This is NOT a beginner pattern. There are a ton of zigzags, direction changes, and moments where you’ll need to really focus (or even track your progress as you go).

But if you’re ready for a challenge?
This one might surprise you.

👉 Have you ever tried a pattern that just didn’t make sense at first?
Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear how you approached it.

I’ll be honest… I thought this pattern was going to be a nightmare 😅

After breaking down Pattern 3613 in the last video, it was finally time to actually make it—and surprisingly, it wasn’t as impossible as it looked.

The key?
Breaking everything into small, manageable sections.

💡 In this video, you’ll learn:

  • How to tackle complex patterns by working in bite-sized chunks
  • Why focusing on just a few rows at a time makes a HUGE difference
  • How colors travel through the bracelet (seriously—watch the red 👀)
  • Strategies to avoid mistakes in zigzag-heavy designs

⏱️ Total time: just over an hour (which honestly shocked me)

🎨 One of the coolest parts?
The way colors move through the pattern—especially how red travels from the edges back into the center like it’s weaving its own path through the bracelet.

⚠️ Real talk:
This is definitely not beginner-friendly
…but it’s also not as impossible as it looks if you approach it the right way.
