Hey everyone, it’s Kevin, also known as AWOL! Welcome back to Blindsided Creations, where today I’m excited to share a new bracelet pattern sent in by Minute_Craft. We’re diving into pattern #95338 from braceletbook.com, a simple yet stunningly beautiful bracelet that anyone can make.
Pattern #95338 Overview
This bracelet has been one of the easiest but delightful creations I’ve crafted in a while. The simplicity of the design, combined with the ease of segment knotting, makes this an absolute joy to create. With only three colors, the pattern manages to look sophisticated while being incredibly beginner-friendly. The straightforward design involves mostly left and right knots, with very minimal zigzag patterns, making it simple to follow and execute.
Key Features:
Ease of Knotting: Big, long rows make it effortless to track where your next step will be. No need to constantly check the pattern, which makes it more relaxing.
Color Transition: The segments where colors like the yellow patch come down until they meet another color (white string) are easy to spot and manage.
Minimal Zigzag: Few zigzag changes simplify the process even more, making it accessible for beginners who may find zigzag patterns challenging at first.
Visual Appeal: Despite its simplicity, the bracelet looks complex and visually stunning—perfect for impressing others or for selling in marketplaces.
Techniques and Tips:
String Management: The yellow strings are used more frequently, which can be balanced by swapping strings to avoid excessive use but still maintaining a reasonable tassel length for tying.
Relaxed Crafting: The absence of complicated segments allows you to enjoy the process without worrying about mistakes. This makes the activity even more pleasurable and stress-free.
Challenges and Resolutions:
Even though the yellow strings were used more, I encountered no significant issues with managing the strings or reaching a satisfying length for finishing. The black strings, following in long straight lines, added a structural and visual balance to the design.
Personal Experience:
I had an enjoyable time crafting this bracelet while watching “The Superhero Movie,” a fun spoof on classic superhero narratives. The entire crafting process took about an hour and 20 minutes, and it was an entirely smooth experience. Occasionally, these patterns get made during live YouTube member streams or while I engage with my Patreon community, giving a behind-the-scenes look.
