Friendship Bracelet Obsession
The first hing you might notice is there are more strings than you might want for the Kumi loop That’s OK, I have a solution for that.
It’s 24 strands for this Kumi that means you left off two strands. One background color and one foreground color.
Once done you trade the two strands of the pop color (move for the left side to the right) for two of the background (from the right side to the left)
So adding the two other strands there’s an important thing you must do first. The number of colors is different on either side of this so we have to trade two of the pop colors from the left side for two of the darker foreground colors from the right. Then we can use a larks head over the entire group of strands. The lighter background color to the right and the darker foreground color to the left. Then just do the single loop according to the pattern until they are all sorted.
So I said this before but it bears saying again that I got this from an image and had to figure it out from just looking at this photo. The thing about doing that is that once I had, making the bracelet was easier to do because I had to figure out a number of things. An example is that there is that background dot that appears in the middle of the bend of that pop color. Or how there is that background color that comes in. it seems like it should have linked to that dot but it doesn’t. Trying to sort how all the colors are available right where they need to be can be quite a challenge, but don’t let that discourage you. Having sorted or a complex pattern can only help you gain understanding and make it easier to do next time.
