True Blue Friendship Bracelets: Quick and Easy Patterns
Many of you have been asking for nice bracelet patterns that a beginner can handle. Well, since I’ve been working on a matching set of bracelets for a family to wear during the upcoming Hari Raya festivities, I figured, why not kill two birds with one stone? So I decided on six easy patterns, all of which only use the first two knots.
If you’re an absolute newbie and haven’t figured out the first two knots yet, click here and here for the tutorials on those.
So all of these patterns were made using the 6-string bracelet graph paper I created. You can download it – and others of various sizes – over here. To ensure image quality, you really need to open the PDFs in at least 300 dpi when opening it in Gimp/Photoshop. If you’re doing it on a mobile device, then you probably don’t have to worry about that.
The family had requested for blues, so all of these use six shades of blue, creating a pretty fade. I use six distinct (rainbow) colors in my patterns, so it’s easier to distinguish between shades. Just create a ‘key’ when you’re using different shades or colors. In this case, red represents the darkest blue and purple represents the white.
