Creating a Diamond Arrowhead Ornament: Simple 24-String Pattern (Ornament #9)
Today, I’m working on the ninth ornament in my series, and this one is all about a beautiful diamond arrowhead pattern! I’ve made the template smaller to create a daintier, single-stranded ornament, using just two colors—gold and gray. Watch as I walk through setting up the pattern, and stay tuned for tomorrow’s video where I’ll show you how to assemble the three bracelet segments into a ball-shaped ornament.
This pattern is perfect for intermediate-level makers and works up relatively fast. Plus, it’s a great way to experiment with different colors and sizes for your ornaments. I’m excited to see how this turns out!

In today’s video, we’re assembling ornament #9, a star-shaped design made from three double-wide bracelet segments. This one was fun to make, though I needed help from my wife to tie the final knots! The pattern uses two colors, and you’ll need a total of 12 skeins, cutting each into six pieces to get the necessary length. Watch as I break down the steps, share tips on knotting and joining the segments, and show you how we tied everything together.
Whether you’re making this for your tree or as a gift, the key to success is taking your time and being patient with the knotting process. And don’t forget, you can customize it with your own colors and patterns to make it truly unique! 🎄
