I Reimagined Pattern #28 🌈 And the Center Got WILD?!

Today we’re going WAY back… 👀

Pattern #28 is one I’ve been making since before pattern websites even existed—and now it’s time to give it a fresh twist.

Instead of the original fade style, we’re turning it into a full rainbow bracelet 🌈
…but with a different approach than usual.

🧵 In this video:

Rotating and flipping the pattern for a new perspective
Rebuilding the design from the center outward
Letting the middle section “figure itself out” 😄
Mapping string paths to make sure everything actually works

And honestly? The result surprised me.

🔥 A bold double-diamond center
🎯 Colors bouncing into each other in unexpected ways
🧠 A great reminder why planning your pattern matters

Even after all these years, this is proof that small changes—like color order—can completely transform a design.

This one turned out… unexpected 😄

I took pattern #28—one of my all-time favorite arrowhead designs—and approached it a little differently this time.

Instead of planning the center, I started the bracelet and just let the middle be whatever it wanted to be… and it created something really unique.

🧵 In this video:

  • A 12-string arrowhead bracelet breakdown
  • Letting the center design form naturally
  • Why the result creates a double-diamond effect
  • Color balance (and why cold colors feel more dominant 👀)
  • Tips on string length, setup, and customization

💡 One of the biggest takeaways:
If you plan your bracelet length and template ahead of time, you can control exactly where your design lands—no more accidentally making an anklet when you wanted a bracelet 😅

💬 I’d LOVE to see your version of this—especially if you experiment with the center design!

Huge thanks to my YouTube Members for supporting the channel ❤️

And as always…
Don’t get your strings in a bunch.
