Longest Pattern Ever?!
Hey there! Kevin aka AWOL here, and today we’re taking on one of the longest patterns I’ve ever seen – pattern #109315 from friendshipbracelets.net. This design is a beast, but I’m here to show you how to break it down and turn it into something epic. 💪
💡 In this video:
How to rotate, crop, and enhance a complex pattern layout
Choosing the right center point (and ditching what doesn’t work)
How symmetry saves you time (copy-flip-paste magic!)
Why variegated floss only works in the right places
Visualizing bold design ideas that give Native American or tribal vibes
This pattern might look intense, but with just two red strands on each side, it’s actually easier to manage than it seems — just make sure those red strings are long! 🔥

Hey friends, Kevin (aka AWOL) here! Today’s bracelet is Pattern #109315 (Kumi #2679), and it totally surprised me—in the best way. A 12-string two-color piece with a fiery red variegated floss against a golden-yellow/orange base, this bracelet gives major tribal energy. 🔥
Despite the pattern being a bit zigzaggy (not very segment-knot-friendly), I knocked it out in just 61 minutes—and loved every second of it. The contrast grew more gorgeous as the bracelet came together, and I’m still shocked at how well it turned out.
💥 Not a beginner’s pattern—expect some intermediate-level twists
🎯 Center-aligned for visual impact (and yes, it makes a difference!)
🎨 Color tip: earthy tones or turquoise & gray could take this tribal vibe to the next level!
💬 Let me know in the comments what you’d name a playlist for these variegated floss projects. “Variegated” sounds technical—maybe something more fun? Your suggestions are gold.
