16 Strings, 4 Colors: The Bracelet That Started It All (But I Did It Last)

This is it — the final bracelet in the zigzag + arrowhead series… and the one I meant to start with all along. 🤦‍♂️

We’re working with 4 colors and 16 single strands, the smallest in the series. The idea was simple: create an off-centered arrowhead. But I thought I needed more colors. Turns out — this pattern only needed four! That discovery launched the entire series from 32 strings down.

In this video, I walk through:
🧠 How this smaller setup behaves differently (math strikes again!)
📐 Why the edge knots threw me off
🎨 How using a middle guideline helped clarify the layout
🧶 Why this tiny pattern took a big brain loop to finally figure out

Here it is — the final entry in the Arrowhead + Zigzag series, and honestly? This fiery little 16-string bracelet might just be the cutest of them all. With 4 bold colors and a super narrow 1.5 cm width, it’s compact, vibrant, and surprisingly satisfying to knot.

🧠 Design insights and pattern breakdown
⌛ Knotting time: 2 hours 11 minutes (not including prep)
🔥 Color story: Magenta, red, orange, yellow — like a flame!
🤏 Thin and lightweight: perfect for smaller wrists or layering

I talk about the math quirks, how it compares to the rest of the series, and why it’s surprisingly not beginner-friendly — even if it looks small.
