Today we’re diving into pattern #85038 from friendship-bracelets.net
—but with a unique AWOL spin. This fishbone-style bracelet features a fade of three blues against a strong black backdrop. The trick? A subtle middle blue that barely shows—but ties the whole look together.
⚒️ Materials & Tools:
Pattern 85038 (modified)
12 strings, doubled for a clean kumi loop
Handy row clicker (shoutout to Daiso!)
🎯 Why this bracelet stands out:
Clean gradient fade from dark blue to light
Pattern flip at the midpoint for extra spice
Efficient knotting made faster with a clicker counter
Ideal for intermediate makers who want to level up their zigzag game
💡 Fun Fact: I rediscovered this pattern via an old Microsoft To-Do note. Hadn’t touched it in years, but once I opened it up… it all clicked into place.
🌀 BONUS MENTION: The kumi Mandy made (pattern K1213) is 🔥 — check that out too on friendship-bracelets.net!
